OUR SUMMER AINT OVER YET (Preparations for our Summer Escapade)
My whole Summer for 2011 (April-May) went by soo fast, I practically didn't feel that it was Summer. Papa had an operation and was in the hospital from April 12 - June 2. I, too, felt that I was confined there too cause I was the one who stayed with Papa the whole time although I got to go out but only just to go home and get stuff and change and whatever. Our experience in there was.. Nevermind. But, the most important thing is, my Papa survived. And I still get to sleep while cuddling him every night which I intend to do til I'm 30. I'm turning 20 this year ;)
Anyways, since we didn't get to go swimming and party and go out of town and just chill and relax, me and Ian<3 and his workmates are gonna go somewhere where it's Summer everyday<3 I'm gonna put some suspense into this and not say where it is ;) So, you have to wait for my epic blog about it soon ;)
It was a blessing that Celvitek-Olongapo Employees were given a chance (by Ma'am Ann) to go on a 3 day & 2 night trip to *bleep* ;) So, we grabbed the chance and I joined in! Yay! ;)
We were/are super excited! So, I started preparing our stuff for the trip.
Me & Ian aren't exactly beach bums or avid travellers so we didn't have swimwear and travelling bags and such. We don't have a mall yet here so, I searched for stuff online. Above everything else, we needed swimwear. I searched for budget friendly swimwear in Multiply, Facebook, eBay, Sulit and StyleBible then I came across a recent trend which were high waist swimwear like those in the 40's & 50's. I really like the idea cause it'll hide my 'love handles' and it's not too skimpy or showy. I found those with price ranges from P880 to even $150.
The 'mabusisi' in me finally found the best & most fashionable (&fierce!) swimwear that can suit all body types at budget friendly prices! Yay! Check them out:

The high waist bottom in Pinstripe with vintage buttons are from Koi Swimwear which costs P880(excluding the shipping fee) while the Delia halter bandeau top in red and white polka dots are from Certified BikiniAddict which I got for only P250(also excluding the shipping fee). Both are very easy to transact with ;) So, go check them out! <3
Ian was kinda short on board shorts so I had to find him a good one. I found one on eBay! It was up for bidding and we won at P285(excluding the shipping fee)
We borrowed some travel bags from our friends so, we didn't have to buy :) It crossed our minds that we were gonna be there for 3 days and you can't wear the same swimwear the whole time,right? You can't wear wet swimwear from yesterday,right? So, I ordered another Koi high waist bottom. This time, in red with vintage buttons :)

The La Blanca black and white printed bandeau top was from Dress To Impress II and I got the for P300(excluding the shippnig fee) I had great deals,huh? ;) I also ordered a cover up from Shopaholicsinc Fabfinds for P230 and hopefully it arrives by Monday or else I won't be able to use it in *bleep* :( Here's a pic of it:

Soooooo, um..
This is it! I finally made a blog :) Been wanting to do a blog for quite some time now.
I've wanted to blog for soo long and now, I've finally had the guts to do it. I hesitated at
first since I don't have the best of stuffs to share, prizes to giveaway and I don't really
think that anyone would read anything that I write. But, I realized that blogging is NOT
about those. Blogs inspire, encourage, inform, entertain and mesmerize :)
And I hope that I get to do those with my blog as well..
